[Official] Foggia Hired Rossi To Be Their New Head Coach

Delio Rossi, the former coach of Lazio and Fiorentina, has been appointed as the new coach of Foggia, he took over the position after being without a club for three years.

Delio Rossi returned to his coaching job after a three-year absence, the former Lazio coach is the new coach of Foggia. The 63-year-old coach will serve as Foggia's fifth head coach in this campaign.  Earlier, Foggia was managed by four different coaches.  They are Roberto Boscaglia (July - September 2022), Antonio Gentile (September - October 2022), Fabio Gallo (October 2022 - February 2023), and Mario Somma (February - March 2023).  After Somma left, the position of head coach was taken by Giunta, who was only in charge of caretaker duty for a week. With the presence of Rossi, Giunta's task was over.

The announcement of the arrival was made via a press release by the Apulian club:

"Calcio Foggia 1920 has announced that it has entrusted the position of the head coach to Mr. Delio Rossi.  The coach is associated with the club until June 30, 2024."

When he was managing Lazio, Rossi won the Coppa Italia in the 2008/09 season.
