New Format For Next Season Supercoppa, Lazio Can Still Participate

There will be a revolution for the next edition of Supercoppa Italia. The big announcement was made in the evening after the Lega convention that there will be a new format that will expand the pool of participants. Following the model adopted by Spain, there will no longer be two teams but four.

The top two in the league and the finalists of the Coppa Italia fight for the trophy. In this case, according to the current ranking, Napoli and Inter Milan will be; however, regarding the other match, the opponent will be decided between Inter - Juventus and Fiorentina - Cremonese.  

In this case, if Inter Milan can win the Coppa Italia final while maintaining the second place, they will leave room for a better third team in the league. Therefore, the choice will fall on Lazio or Milan.
