Lotito Contacted Zaccagni's Agent To Discuss A Contract Extension
Lazio can't afford to lose Mattia Zaccagni. The derby goal was the final piece of the jigsaw that confirmed Biancoceleste's number 20 as one of the finest signings in recent times. This is why, as documented by the Radiosei review, the club's initiative is to extend the contract (currently scheduled to end in 2025) until 2027.
Recently, president Lotito had a conversation with the striker's agent, Mario Giuffredi, about the extension issue, as well as an adjustment of the numbers: from 1.8 million per season to 3 million. Conversely, the value of the former Verona's skyrocketed, the president of Lazio paid 7 million for it, and now it's worth around 40 million.
