[Serie A] Salernitana - Lazio = 0 - 2

Lazio returns to victory in the Serie A, following the match against Cluj in the Conference League. The biancoceleste triumphed via a double from Ciro Immobile who knocks out Salernitana. Because of this, Salernitana is 16th in the Serie A table.

At the Stadio Arechi, both teams engaged in hard and sustained competition from the start of the game.  Each plays at full strength. Despite both teams attempting to score, the first half ended with a draw. The score was 0-0.

The second half is dominated by Lazio. The tempo is more intense and the Sarri's team has greater control over the other half of the field. In the 60th minute, the biancoceleste advanced, a clever maneuver that took place to the right of the field, Marusic's release was followed by a pass to Immobile, who scored the goal at the far post.

The doubling comes 9' later when Immobile wins the penalty by beating Sepe and scoring a fantastic brace. Cancellieri also wins a nice penalty in the 90th minute, but Luis Alberto who was the executor misses both from eleven meters and the rebound.

It finishes 0-2 at Arechi. Lazio wins deservedly; in the second half, they pick up the pace and take three crucial points. Now, the team will travel to Cluj to compete in the Conference League's round of 16 playoffs.
