Sampdoria lost 3-0 to Lazio during Week 24 of the Italian League this season. The Aquile defeated their visitors 1-0 at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

Only the goal of Lazio's Luis Alberto was scored during the final minutes of the game.

The victory over Sampdoria elevated Lazio to fourth in the Italian League table, with 45 points.

This result also made the Biancoceleste successful in shifting their city rivals, AS Roma, to fifth place who will play tonight against Cremonese.  Roma is currently one point away from Lazio.
