[Official] After Long Negotiations, Lazio Finally Acquires Luca Pellegrini On Loan
Luca Pellegrini's contract has been deposited and he officially becomes a new Lazio player. The full-back moves on loan with the option to buy valued at €15 million from Juventus, after interrupting his loan with Eintracht Frankfurt.
After a long push and pull, Lazio secured their left back. This is the statement from Lazio:
"S.S. Lazio announces that it has temporarily acquired until 30 June 2023 the right to the sports performance of the player Luca Pellegrini, coming from Juventus F.C. S.S. Lazio has an option right for the acquisition of the right to sporting services of the aforementioned player."
Pellegrini was part of the swap deal with Roma that involved the transfer of Leonardo Spinazzola, then this season he was loaned to Frankfurt just after Juventus signed Filip Kostic from the Europa League winners.
Pellegrini participated in just 9 league matches (7 of them become starting lineup) for Eintracht Frankfurt due to his struggles with injury.
At Lazio, Pellegrini will have a long-standing admirer named Maurizio Sarri, who is currently in his second season as the head coach of the Italian capital club.
