Luis Alberto Is Lazio's Most Played Midfielder Since January

After the incident at the end of 2022 and the almost departure, Luis Alberto has become crucial to Sarri: the confusion is now behind us.

Lazio and Maurizio Sarri enjoy a fully recovered Luis Alberto.  As documented by Corriere dello Sport, the Spanish wizard had a clarifying conversation with the coach after his bad moods neared the possibility of leaving Formello to move to Cadiz. He subsequently left from there.

Since January, he's been the Biancoceleste midfielder who has played the most minutes (845) on the field, more than any other player.  The number 10 is now paired with the coach, this ensures him a dual role during the offensive and defensive phases.  The expectation is that Luis will maintain this level of performance until the end of the campaign.  There will be time for the future.
