Top 100 Best Footballers In The World In 2022, Immobile Is Included

The Guardian has announced the 100 best male footballers in the world in 2022, and Ciro Immobile is also included.

Similar to every year, The Guardian released a list of the 100 greatest soccer players in the world in 2022 yesterday. In this 11th edition, the British media had 206 judges, including 11 former players, 3 coaches, and club/national team staff, along with 192 journalists from various countries.  

The decision of the jury to select Lionel Messi first resulted in him having the majority of the votes. Next came Kylian Mbappe and Karim Benzema. 14 players emerge from Serie A including Ciro Immobile, who is ranked 87th on the list. His position has declined by 21 places from the previous year, where he was ranked 66th. 

The highest-ranked Serie A players are Leao, who is 23rd, followed by Giroud in 30th and Di Maria in 38th, in 40th place is the surprise Kvaratskhelia, while ahead of striker Ciro are Maignan in 74th and followed by the three Inter players, namely Brozovic, Lautaro, and Barella classified in 68th to 70th and 73rd place.
