Lazzari Will Serve A 1 Match Ban Against Sassuolo
One of Lazio's regular defenders, Manuel Lazzari, will not participate in his team's next match in Serie A against Sassuolo after receiving his fifth yellow card during the current campaign. He was forced to serve a one-game ban, which was unfortunate news for Maurizio Sarri's squad.
Lazio cannot count on the services of one of their defenders, Manuel Lazzari, in the match against Sassuolo in Serie A next weekend, he was given a fifth yellow card as a result. He had accumulated four yellow cards before the match against Empoli, those came in the win against Bologna, the draw with Torino, the win over Fiorentina, and derby win over Roma.
As reported by LazioNews24, Lazzari was given a yellow card in the 43rd minute of the match against Empoli, this resulted in him being forced to miss the next Serie A match, which will take place on January 15th against Sassuolo. They will attempt to regain their winning ways after three games without a victory.
Seems like a smart suspension for the defender who now won't be at risk of missing the tough games against Milan and Fiorentina later this month. With the absence of the Italian right-back, Sarri must reform his squad with a solution likely involving Elseid Hysaj and Adam Marusic on opposite sides of the pitch.
