Parisi: "It's Great To Know That Big Clubs Are Interested In Me, But I'm Completely Dedicated To Empoli, We'll Discuss The Transfer Market In June."
Fabio Parisi, a player targeted by two Serie A clubs Lazio and Inter, has reportedly denied rumors that claim he will leave his current club, Empoli in the January transfer window.
Fabio Parisi has been rumored to be leaving the club, however, the club's president, Fabrizio Corsi, stated that the player will not be leaving in the winter transfer window. The player himself denied it unequivocally in his interview following the presentation of the Mastrelli award.
"This is a significant award for me and encourages me to improve even more, we will begin again with the new season to begin, we have prepared well, we have prepared well and will try our best as much as possible, I have always had a minor issue with my physique, but I am fit this year and want to continue playing the way I have been playing, being called up to the national team is my dream," Parisi said.
"Empoli finished the first half with a victory and we want to continue, we want to avoid relegation, this is our goal, we will achieve it as soon as possible, we have an excellent coach who keeps everyone focused."
Parisi is in high demand from top clubs like Lazio and Inter, but he has chosen to ignore this and instead focus on his current club.
"Rumors don't bother me, it's great to know that big clubs are interested in me, but I'm completely dedicated to Empoli, we'll discuss the transfer market in June, this club has always been a training ground for young players, and a lot of hard work behind it, important players were born this year."
