[Official] Kamenovic Moves To Sparta Prague On Loan
Lazio has reportedly formally transferred their young defender, Dimitrije Kamenovic, to Czech club Sparta Prague as a loan player. The player from Serbia has not yet been tested for his ability in Serie A because Maurizio Sarri rarely uses him.
Lazio has officially loaned their young defender Dimitrije Kamenovic to Sparta Prague. Lazio acquired the Serbian defender from FC Cukaricki for € 3 million last year, he is one of two non-EU players. However, he has failed to impress Maurizio Sarri since his arrival and has only been given one first-team appearance in the last 18 months.
Di Marzio reported that Kamenovic left Lazio to join Sparta Prague on loan for six months with a purchase option of € 2.5 M. He hopes to get regular minutes to continue his development.
His departure freed up one of the two non-EU players in Lazio's roster, this increased their flexibility in the January transfer market.
Although untested in Italy, Kamenovic is a young, talented defender who can play as a full-back or center-back, equipped with good positioning and stamina. He hopes to get more playing minutes in Prague.
