Lazio Opens Talks With Zaccagni's Agent Negotiating New Contract
Lazio has reportedly started talks with winger Mattia Zaccagni's agent to begin talks over a new contract. The Italy international has been one of Sarri's regulars up front at Lazio for the past two seasons.
Lazio has reportedly started negotiations over a new contract for Mattia Zaccagni through his agent. The 27-year-old Italian winger has been in fantastic form under Maurizio Sarri this season, scoring five goals and providing three assists in 13 Serie A appearances.
Since signing from Hellas Verona last year, he has been considered the perfect fit for The Aquile and has become a fan favorite in the Italian capital. According to Corriere dello Sport, Zaccagni recently changed agents and is currently entrusted to Mario Giuffredi, with Biancoceleste already starting talks with the winger over a new contract.
The club's latest wish is to offer them a new contract until June 2027, with a satisfactory salary increase as a reward for the player's excellent work at Rome.
Since joining, Zaccagni has played 54 times for the Aquile, scoring a total of 10 goals and sending 11 assists. This makes him, along with Ciro Immobile, one of the key players in Lazio's attack.
