Ciro Immobile Once Again Becomes Serie A Top Goalscorer In 2022

Another year, the same result. No one has scored as much as Immobile. While the other forwards are celebrated widely, the Lazio captain focuses on what others cannot: print records in the stone.

No one has scored 20 goals in Serie A during the calendar year. Only Ciro has done so. The striker of the Italy national team has put everyone behind him, including Osimhen (18). Immediately behind them are Lautaro Martinez (17), and Arnautovic with 16, while Dusan Vlahovic, scored 14 goals in 2022, the same as Abraham. 

And that says it all. Further back Leao, Giroud, and Dzeko. Rounding out the top 10 is Scamacca, who however has been playing in the Premier League with West Ham since this season.

But If penalties are not taken into account, Victor Osimhen is the leading goalscorer in the Italian Serie A in 2022. Lazio's Ciro Immobile is the leading scorer in Serie A in 2022 with 20 goals. But 6 of his goals are from the penalty spot, which means he had 14 non-penalty goals.
