Next Year Will Be The Last Pre-Season Retreat At Auronzo Di Cadore
2023 could be Lazio's last retreat at the Auronzo di Cadore. But here's what the situation is.
Lazio's adventure in Auronzo di Cadore, the home of the Biancoceleste club's retreat for fifteen years, appears to be over. According to Il Corriere delle Alpi, 2023 could be the last year of the Biancoceleste in the Tre Cime di Lavaredo. Renewal talks have slowed considerably and Lotito is now forced to search for a new summer destination.
Everything has to do with the hesitation of the new Cadore government, but in reality, it is not entirely clear what caused Media Sports Event, the company that organizes the event, to not continue negotiations.
However, according to the newspaper, one of the possible sources of tension between the two sides is there is no longer Auronzo hotel, the only building that can accommodate the Biancoceleste entourage. The bankruptcy trustee granted Tredici Maggio management a refresh next summer, thus avoiding a closure. In short, the situation appears chaotic.
In the three years from 2018 to 2021, Lazio has made a huge contribution to the growth of Auronzo's tourist arrivals in July, averaging more than 74,000, and it has also had an impact on the "key month" of August.
