Ajeti: "Lazio Is An Interesting Team. I'm Looking Forward To This Game. The Most Dangerous Player Is Probably The Striker Ciro Immobile."
Sturm Graz striker, Albian Ajeti insists his side must take caution to Lazio in their third match of Group F on Thursday night (06/10) local time. Before the clash, special attention was paid to Lazio star striker Ciro Immobile.
Austrian club Sturm Graz is currently second in the Austrian Bundesliga table after 10 games. Just two points behind leader RB Salzburg. And in the Europa League group stage, they have recorded one win by beating FC Midtjylland 1-0 but lost 6-0 to Feyenoord
All teams in Group F have three points, and the next game is the key to advancing to the knockout stage. Albian Ajeti first opened up about his interest in Serie A and praised Lazio.
"I follow the Serie A competition and know almost all teams very well. Lazio is an interesting team. I'm looking forward to this game. We have to respect Lazio as a team, but of course, we are not timid," he said as quoted by LazioNews24.
He knows which players Sturm Graz players needs to watch out for when preparing for Biancoceleste.
"The most dangerous player is probably the striker Ciro Immobile. He scores 20-30 goals a year and is part of the Italian national team. We have to be very careful," he said.
The Swiss striker has also opened up about his relationship with Aquile winger Felipe Anderson.
"We play together at West Ham, we keep in touch via WhatsApp, we texted each other two days ago."
In the end, Ajeti confirmed that he had considered joining The Aquile before eventually joining another club.
"Yes, there were talks, but in the end, I turned them down because my gut instinct took me to West Ham."
