[Serie A] Cremonese - Lazio = 0 - 4
Lazio made an important response to manager Maurizio Sarri's request by beating hosts Cremonese 4-0 in their Serie A match in Cremona on Sunday night (18/09 local time).
Lazio put the painful 5-1 loss to FC Midtjylland behind them with a dominant display in a 4-0 win over Cremonese in Serie A. The Italian capital club traveled to Cremona after their worst Europa League defeat, but they managed to forget the painful result.
Maurizio Sarri needed a positive response from his side after their Europa League defeat, and they performed well in Cremona, beating hosts Cremonese 4-0. The Biancoceleste took the lead just seven minutes when Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's through ball found Ciro Immobile from inside the box and score the goal.
Lazio doubled their lead in the 21st minute with a penalty from Immobile and netted for the second time. Shortly before the half-time whistle, Milinkovic-Savic scored a goal and entered the score sheet.
In the second half, the Aquile continued to perform well as Cremonese had little to offer. Consequently, Pedro scored in the 79th minute for a 4-0 advantage for the visitors over Cremonese. Cremonese ultimately lost the game when they didn't make any more significant progress before their fans in the final hour.
The Aquile lost their momentum during a bad performance on a Tuesday. They managed to recover by regathering as a strong and decisive team after facing a difficult time.
