Immobile's Italy Team Will Be Facing Ronaldinho's World Team On Charity Match In Rome
On November 14, under the spotlight at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome, will be the "Game for Peace", an interfaith charity event with a rather eloquent message: "We fight for peace".
On Thursday 29 September, a press conference to introduce the game take place at Sala Marconi, which is supported by many European and international football representatives. It's a momentous moment, and also a memory of Diego Armando Maradona, who died two years ago in November and who was a frequent participant in such events.
Present at the press conference were Ciro Ferrara, a friend and former partner of Pibe de Oro in Napoli, S.S. Lazio, captain Immobile and president Lotito, and A.S. Roma, with Kumbulla.
The strikers of Lazio and the national team will serve as representatives of the "Italy" team in peaceful matches. Ciro will be one of the two captains of the match, as the tournament organizer Roberto Sarti announced at the press conference. And the other will be Ronaldinho who will wear the captain band of the 'Rest of the World'.
In addition to these two stars, countless famous footballers make up the rest of the footballing lineup. This includes Hristo Stoichkov, Ciro Ferrara, and Claudio Caniggia. Playing out in the Italian capital city is going to be quite exciting for everyone involved.
