[Europa League] Lazio Vs Feyenoord Preview

Lazio will play their first Europa League competition against strong Dutch league side Feyenoord at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.

The Biancoceleste are in an unfavorable trend following their recent 1-2 loss over Napoli.

Lazio has played 78 games in the Europa League since the start of 2009. But the club is not going far. Last season, Lazio lost 4-3 on aggregate to Porto in the Europa League play-off round of 16 stages and were eliminated.

Meanwhile, Feyenoord has the upper hand as they are yet to suffer a defeat in the domestic league. They are currently second in the standings, just two points behind Ajax Amsterdam.

As Il Tempo reports, Maurizio Sarri is considering a rotation in Lazio's squad for the upcoming Europa League opener against Feyenoord. Sarri wants to rest some of the players who are usually used as starters.
