[Official] Shehu Is Leaving Lazio After His Contract Expired

Florent Shehu made a post on his Instagram profile announcing his departure from the biancoceleste team.

Here's the message from the Swiss midfielder:

"After 3 years at Lazio, it's time to say goodbye to Lazio. I would like to thank all of you Lazio, coaches, staff, teammates, and all the people who work in the club for all the affection you have shown me during these 3 years. Always Forza Lazio."

Florent Shehu, born on May 17, 2002, is a French citizen but still holds a Swiss passport. He started his football career wearing a Team Vaud shirt. Joined the Barcelona youth team in 2013, playing for just one year; in 2014 he moved to Valencia, Florent then moved to the Levante in 2016. 

In July 2019, he started his Italian experience: Tare took him to Lazio Primavera, where he signed a 3-year contract. In his first season at Lazio, he made 14 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 1 assist. The Lazio winger also wore the Swiss U17 national team shirt.
