Lotito Rejects Inter's First Offer To Loan Acerbi But Is Willing To Renegotiate

With two weeks remaining until the end of the transfer window, the club is still unsure about the future of defender Francesco Acerbi. Reportedly, Acerbi hasn't attended any training sessions in the last two days, which brings him closer to a potential meeting with Inter coach Inzaghi.

Simone Inzaghi has made it clear he wants to bring in a new defender to complete his squad following Andrea Ranocchia's departure to Monza. The 34-year-old Italy international already knows Inzaghi well, having worked with him in the Italian capital, so hopefully, he can adapt to the manager's tactics soon.

Acerbi has not been part of the Aquile squad this season after relations with fans in the Italian capital deteriorated beyond repair. Meanwhile, coach Maurizio Sarri has signed two defenders this summer, Alessio Romagnoli from Milan on a free transfer and Nicolo Casale from Verona.

As reported by Damiano Er Faina, the Nerazzurri club has put on the table a loan of 500 thousand euros with the right of redemption set at 3 million. Offer that still does not satisfy the president Lotito that he would like the obligation of redemption of 5 million, also bound to some team achievement, payable in 5 years.
