Lazio Begin Negotiations With Chelsea Again For Emerson After They Opened A Loan Deal

Lazio has been looking for players to complete their squad for next season. After six players have officially signed for Lazio, plus Matias Vecino who will not be long. Lazio is now negotiating for Emerson Palmeri following a deal with Chelsea.

Chelsea is ready to loan Emerson Palmieri to Lazio, according to Il Messaggero. Of course, there is an additional option to buy him for 10 million euros at the end of the season. Chelsea's offer comes as a relief for Biancoceleste, who will immediately move after completing their business with Matias Vecino.

The native Brazilian, who holds an Italian passport, was loaned to Olympique Lyon last season. The 27-year-old has struggled to find minutes since Thomas Tuchel arrived for the Blues. However, his performance started to look back when he played with Lyon in the Ligue 1 in France. During his time at Lyon last season, he scored 1 goal and 2 assists.

However, Lyon had not redeemed him after the loan deal, so he had to return to Stamford Bridge. The good old days with Maurizio Sarri made him want to continue the partnership. Incidentally, Maurizio Sarri also needs a left-back to bolster Lazio's squad next season.
