Kiyine Agrees On A Loan Deal To Gaziantep
Turkish club Gaziantep is reportedly one step closer to reaching an agreement on the transfer of Lazio midfielder Sofian Kiyine. The Moroccan is one of the excess players at the Olimpico this summer.
Sources from Turkey suggest Gaziantep is one step closer to a loan deal for Sofian Kiyine from Lazio. The Italian capital club is looking to streamline their squad by releasing unwanted players this summer. One player on the transfer list is the 24-year-old Moroccan midfielder, who only returned to Rome last month after spending a year on loan with Venezia.
As Turkish media Fotomac reports, Gaziantep is one step away from agreeing on a deal with the Biancoceleste for Kiyine and they are trying to complete a loan transfer with an embedded purchase option. Some details are still to be finalized, but the parties are now confident that everything will be finalized soon.
The 24-year-old Kiyine has agreed to the transfer and will likely get more playing time at the Turkish club than he did at Rome.
Lazio still has not used the midfielder in competitive matches, although he signed for the club back in July 2019. The Aquile signed the Moroccan midfielder from Chievo Verona for around 1 million Euros. He has been on loan for the last two seasons, first at Salernitana and then at Venezia.
