Binance Now Selling NFT Tickets For Lazio Matches
Binance, one of the world’s largest crypto trading platforms, announced the launch of NFT ticket sales for Italian football club S.S. Lazio in the 2022/2023 season.
According to Bitcoin.com, fans can use Non Fungible Tokens (NFT) to visit the Stadio Olimpico, Rome’s largest stadium, and watch their favorite team’s home game.
In addition to entry to the stadium, ticket holders can also enjoy significant discounts, including 10% off any product sold in Lazio stores, and 20% on tickets for club matches in the Europa League, which is sponsored by the European Football Associations Union (UEFA).
In addition to discounts, supporters who purchase these digital tickets have the opportunity to win Fan Tokens and access to a range of exclusive events. To buy tickets, Lazio fans need to open an account with Binance and go to the Binance Fan Token platform page.
By replacing traditional ticket distribution systems with NFT, Binance hopes to solve some of the problems these systems cause. For example, NFT allows people to avoid buying tickets twice when one seat is sold twice. It also prevents ticket forgery and issues related to lost or damaged tickets.
Binance signed a three-year agreement with Lazio as their main shirt sponsor. This agreement launched with an initial period of two years with the option to extend it for the third year.
