Sampdoria Open Talks With Lazio About Escalante

Lazio is undoubtedly one of the positive protagonists in the transfer market this summer. The Biancoceleste club already has six signings and they have no intention of stopping.  

But first, you have to sell. Vavro and Casasola are officially released, and Muriqi is getting closer and closer to returning to Mallorca. Another name on the dismissal list is Gonzalo Escalante, who has returned to the capital after being loaned to Alaves.

As market pundit Gianluca di Marzio reports, the Argentine midfielder was completely out of Sarri's plans and ended up being the target of the Serie A club.

According to Sky Sports, Giampaolo's Sampdoria are considering Escalante and have been opening a talk with Lazio for the past few hours. We'll see if there are any further developments in the coming days.
