[Official] Brentford Sign Strakosha For 4 Years

Thomas Strakosha officially joined Brentford after his contract with Lazio expired in June. He will be signing a four-year deal, after being brought in as a free agent.

Despite being only introduced to bees for a few hours, Strakosha immediately made history. He is the first Albanian player in the history of the Bees.

With the arrival of Strakosha, the Bees also now have two solid goalkeepers. Strakosha will compete with David Raya for a seat at The Bees.

Brentford's head coach, Thomas Frank, couldn't hide his excitement at Strakosha's arrival. Frank admits he has been impressed by Strakosha's consistent form at Lazio since the 2017/18 season.

"I'm really happy about the arrival of a great goalkeeper like Thomas. I'm very impressed that he could be Lazio's first choice for a long time," explained Frank, according to the club's official website.

"He has played in Serie A and Europe. I am sure he will bring the experience of both games here. He is the perfect goalkeeper for us and he will compete with David Raya next season," Frank concluded.
