Mario Gila Hasn't Completed His Medical Check Up At Paideia
Start with the wrong foot. Or at least unfortunate. Mario Gila turned up at Paideia this morning but was unable to make his usual fitness visit, which would give him the green light to join his mates at Auronzo.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, it has been revealed that the Biancoceleste has agreed to pay Real Madrid around 6 million euros to sign Mario Gila. However, it is unclear if terms were attached, but discussions reportedly initially focused on a loan assignment with a €5m call option embedded in his contract, followed by a 25% to 50% future sale clause.
The footballer, who arrived from Spain yesterday, was treated before testing and left the clinic immediately through a side exit. The move indicated a problem, as he had to stay at the facility for about three hours and conduct routine checks.
News is expected in the next few hours, but there is a risk that his arrival at the retreat will be postponed.
