Club Brugge Is Negotiating With Lazio About Muriqi
Belgian club Club Brugge has also reportedly offered the services of the Lazio striker, who is looking for a new club this summer, Vedat Muriqi, who has just returned from a loan spell at La Liga side RCD Mallorca.
Club Brugge has already taken an interest in the services of Lazio striker, Vedat Muriqi, who is looking for a new club after a successful loan move to Mallorca in the second half of last season.
Things have not been easy at Lazio for the 28-year-old Kosovo striker, who failed to impress Simone Inzaghi and Maurizio Sarri following his arrival in September 2020. After failing to score in the first half of last season, he regained his confidence on loan at Mallorca in January, scoring five goals in 15 games.
According to reports from Gianluca Di Marzio, Club Brugge has expressed interest in Muriqi and is looking to sign the Kosovo striker from Lazio permanently.
Negotiations over his transfer are underway, with the Belgian club ready to pay 9 million euros in fees and bonuses for the former Fenerbahce player. Meanwhile, Maurizio Sarri's side has been looking for a new club for Muriqi for some time and ended their loss after a lackluster performance despite signing him for a hefty € 20M.
