Strakosha: "I Am Happy With What I Have Done In Rome, But Now A New Chapter Begins For Me. I Have Always Dreamed Of The Premier League Since I Was A Bambino."

After many years, Thomas Strakosha decided to take off Lazio's jersey. In a lengthy interview with journalist Fabrizio Romano on the Here We Go podcast, he talks about his links with Lazio and his possible future in the Premier League:

"I have always had a great relationship with Lazio and will always have great memories. I grew up there, from Primavera to the first team, and became who I am today. I am happy with what I have done in Rome, but now a new chapter begins for me."

"I will always be grateful to the world of Lazio for what they have done for me, my teammates, the coach, and the fans over the past few years. After more than 10 years, it is hard for me to leave. It was my home and I spent the most important moments of my life there."

"When I was there, I did not speak to other teams out of respect. I wanted to be ready for a new championship. I knew it would take a lot of physical work to leave Italy. However, I am very honored that my name is linked to top clubs like Chelsea. I have always dreamed of the Premier League since I was a bambino."
