Stefan Radu Extends His Contract With Lazio For One More Year

Stefan Radu has agreed to extend his contract with Lazio: the defender has signed for another season. This will be his 16th season wearing the Biancoceleste jersey.

As Gianluca Di Marzio reports, Biancoceleste has reached an agreement on an annual extension for Stefan Radu. As a result, Sarri will be able to rely on Radu for another season, who has played a very important role on the Tuscan coach's tactical chessboard since January.

The contract will be signed in the next few days and deposited between late June and early July for liquidity index related issues. But no doubt, there have never been any.

As a result, the Biancoceleste defender will be able to improve his record, his record currently is 424 games in Lazio shirt (the most all-time attendance) putting him ahead of Giuseppe Favalli who stopped at 408. 

Radu, who arrived in Rome in 2008 after his experience in Romania with Dinamo Bucharest, won the Italian Cup three times with the Lazio shirt (in 2008/09, 2012/13, and 2018/19 seasons) and the Italian Super Cup three times (seasons 2009/10, 2017/18, and 2019/20).
