Lazio Is Reportedly Want To Secure Victor Chust From Real Madrid
Lazio is reportedly one step closer to securing the services of Real Madrid defender Victor Chust this summer.
Lazio will look to rebuild their defense in the summer as Luiz Felipe and Francesco Acerbi are reportedly set to leave, prompting the arrival of two new center-backs. Alessio Romagnoli could be one of them, and now they need an extra defender.
According to reports from La Repubblica and La Gazzetta dello Sport, Lazio has recently eyed the services of Victor Custer and Real Madrid gave him the green light to join Lazio. After his loan spell at Cadiz, he will return to his home team Real Madrid next month.
Victor Chust is a pure center-back who can control the ball at his feet. The 22-year-old Spaniard was a product of Valencia's academy before joining Real Madrid's youth team in 2012. He won the Youth League title with the Spanish capital in the 2019/20 season.
He has been on loan at Cadiz since August 2021, played in the Copa del Rey with the Real Madrid first team, and made his La Liga debut in February 2021. With the Canaries, the defender has made 17 domestic league appearances without contributing a single goal.
