Update On Flu Outbreak Inside Lazio's Squads
Seven Lazio players were reported to have flu-like symptoms this week, but a more positive trend ahead of the big game against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday night (24/04) local time.
According to reports, seven players from Lazio's main line-up are Thomas Strakosha, Pepe Reina, Adam Marusic, Stefan Radu, Danilo Cataldi, Raul Moro, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, and Luiz Felipe, who started this week with flu-like symptoms, including fever and digestive problems, suffered from being forced to miss the Several training sessions at Formello.
As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb, the situation is now as four players have fully recovered from the flu and have started training in the gym, namely Milinkovic-Savic, Marusic, Strakosha, and Cataldi.
While Reina and Radu are still unable to train due to these symptoms, Patric and Pedro are still absent due to muscle problems. Maurizio Sarri seemed a little nervous as he led his team against Milan on Sunday night. He wants his team to be at their best in this big game. The Rossoneri cannot drop points themselves as they are still chasing the Serie A title with Inter and Napoli this season.
While the Biancoceleste is also struggling to secure a place in next season's European competition, they are currently seventh in the Serie A table.
