[Serie A] Lazio Vs Torino Prediction

Lazio will welcome mid-table side Torino on Saturday at the Stadio Olimpico. They are looking to consolidate their top six finish in Serie A with a third consecutive victory.

Under pressure from the clubs around them in the table - including Atalanta, Fiorentina and city rivals Roma - the Biancoceleste will face an away side who just held AC Milan to a goalless draw.

Continuing their quest for European qualification, momentum has been strong since their exit from the Europa League, and victories over Sassuolo and Genoa after the international break helped Lazio complete a top six before the end of the season.

Under Maurizio Sarri's instructions, the capital club can now win three league games in a row for the first time in a year and have recorded four of their five victories in the past month.

Lazio and Torino may have drawn their last two Serie A encounters - including the inevitable injury-time equaliser by Immobile in September - but Granata has won just once in their last 17 away games at the Olimpico Stadium.

Torino have also won only once in their past 10 Serie A games - a 1-0 win over bottom line Salernitana - with five draws and four losses. Not only that, but they haven't scored more than once in any game during that period.

However, this season, Torino has conceded just 30 goals in their first 31 Serie A games for the second time since the turn of the century, will again be a tricky opponent on Saturday.
