Lazio's List Of Targets For Midfielders If Milinkovic-Savic Leaves
Lazio are gearing up to renew their attacking line next summer as rumours suggest the departure of two midfielders Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Lucas Leiva. The Italian capital club already has several target players, from Vitinha to Boubacar Kamara.
Serbian midfielder Sergei Milinkovic-Savic, 27, will reportedly sell for a price high enough to fund Lazio's summer reshuffle, according to reports. Therefore, a talented replacement is needed. Meanwhile, Lucas Leiva will also leave after his contract with the Biancoceleste has expired. Maurizio Sarri's team will certainly not hold back on his move because it does not accept the amount of his salary which is too high.
As Corriere dello Sport reports, a number of midfielders have been linked with a possible move to Lazio before the transfer window opens this summer, ranging from Leander Dendoncker, whose contract with Wolves expires in 2023, and Boubacar Kamara who will leave Marseille on a free transfer.
Other options include Vitinha, who has put in an impressive showing along with Porto, and Maxime Lopez, who is also eyed by city rivals AS Roma. And the last one is Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek who is Sarri's favorite and Palmeiras talent Danilo who is also monitored by Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Milinkovic-Savic has been widely linked with transfers to PSG and Manchester United in this summer's market, although the midfielder reportedly has dream clubs to go to, namely Juventus and Real Madrid.
