Lazio Ultras Fans Protest Ticket Price Ahead Of Vs Milan

Ultras Lazio have issued a statement of protest against the price of tickets for their favorite team's game against Milan at the Stadio Olimpico next weekend.

Lazio will meet Milan in a match at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday (24/04) with many fans hoping for cheaper ticket prices, like AS Roma in the Europa Conference League game against Bodo/Glimt who lowered the ticket price to €5 which created a good atmosphere and the stadium was packed.

As highlighted in Ultra's statement, ticket prices range from 40 euros for a standard ticket at Curva Nord to 60 euros for a Tevere seat. Fans say the price is quite expensive, especially given the impact of the coronavirus on the Italian economy.

President Claudio Lotito is known as a savvy businessman with a focus on balance sheets, so it's hard to imagine ticket prices dropping significantly soon. Here is a statement from The Aquile Ultras as quoted by LazioNews24:

"Enough now, shame on you all, worthless club! Curva tickets for Lazio-Milan match €40, Tevere €60, an insult to fans who are always at home and away, and which of course is not solved in the big games."

"Go to the stadium alone."

"We won't be there this time, but we will still support the team. We will meet at Ponte Milvio at 3 pm with Biancoceleste scarves, flags, and banners."

"At 19.30 we will move off the curve to support our team, everything is for the team, nothing for Lotito because Lazio belongs to the Lazio fans!"
