Immobile: "Torino Is A Very Difficult Team, They Put Pressure On You All Over The Pitch. We Have To Think We Deserve That Point."

Lazio drew 1-1 with the guests Torino in their Serie A match at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night (April 16). The main striker of the home team, Immobile, gave his response.

Ciro Immobile admitted Lazio felt their 1-1 draw with Torino was the final result they deserved. Pietro Pellegri gave the visitors the lead with a header at the Stadio Olimpico, but Immobile equalized in stoppage time from Sergej Milinkovic-Savic's cross.

"It was a tough game, we had to improve our approach in the second half, it wasn't the best last weekend, if we had stayed 0-0 longer maybe we would have fought to win the game at the end," the striker said via  Sky Sports Italia.

"Besides that, Torino is a very difficult team, they put pressure on you all over the pitch. We can't move the ball fast, they're hard to break through and we have to think we deserve that point. "

"We realize the fourth place is very far from reach, with Juventus draw we should have closed the gap but it's still difficult.  We will focus more on our growth process.”

The addition of one point makes the Biancoceleste's position drop one place to seventh in the Serie A standings with a collection of 56 points from 33 matches played so far in the 2021/22 season.
