Lazio Rejects Juventus Proposal For Swapping Luis Alberto With Rovella + Money
Juventus are reportedly targeting Lazio's Luis Alberto, but they understand the difficulty of negotiating with Lazio's president, Claudio Lotito. The aquile plans to release him in the summer to receive transfer funds.
The Spanish midfielder has endured a shaky season under head coach Maurizio Sarri, where his form has been inconsistent, at times performing brilliantly and at times disappearing from the game entirely.
His relationship with the 63-year-old Italian coach has also reportedly been in trouble after the ups and downs. The Aquile are reportedly ready to sell him in the summer but need a convincing offer to get him out of the Olimpico.
According to Radiosei, the Bianconeri have shown interest in the midfielder in recent weeks, but they need to be able to satisfy Aquile's request for the player, which will require a transfer fee of 40 million euros. The player's contract at biancoceleste expires in 2025, meaning Lazio is in a good position ahead of transfer talks.
It is further reported that Maurizio Sarri's team will not accept an agreement that includes young players such as Nicolo Rovella which makes it increasingly difficult for Juventus to realize the transfer of the Spanish midfielder in the summer.
