[Serie A] Udinese Vs Lazio Prediction

Lazio will be targeting a third win in rows in Serie A and looking to take out their disappointment in the Europa League as they resume their domestic campaign against Udinese.

Lazio is currently still in the European football zone after sitting sixth in the Serie A standings, while Udinese is only three levels and three points clear of the relegation zone.

Lazio has been in fine form in Serie A recently, picking up three wins from their last four games to sit sixth in the table, but they have taken a hit in the Europa League.

Ciro Immobile's illness due to a fever made Lazio unable to lose their best strength when they traveled to Portugal.  Although they had taken the lead through Mattia Zaccagni's flick, Lazio finally had to give up with a score of 2-1 against FC Porto because of their weakness in anticipating crosses.

Udinese, meanwhile, has picked up just two points from their last eight home games against Lazio, scoring four and conceding 12 goals, so the visitors will be hoping they can find some outlet for their injuries and restore their morale with a win here.

Udinese has also been in poor form since the turn of the year, winning just one of their six games in all competitions, losing four, including an embarrassing 4-0 loss to Verona last weekend in Serie A.

Lazio has an impressive record against Udinese and has won 28 of 49 meetings, losing just 12.  The previous meeting between the two teams took place last month and ended in a 1-0 win for Lazio.
