Ospina Will Not Renew His Contract At Napoli, Lazio Is Monitoring
In the summer David Ospina will be able to say goodbye to Napoli, leaving the door to Alex Meret. The Colombian goalkeeper will turn 34 in August. So the renewal, unless you accept a fairly substantial reduction in the salary, seems almost impossible.
Ospina, like Insigne and probably also Mertens, will close his experience after a few years between ups and downs, but with a very low outlay in the summer of 2019.
Among the possible destinations, there is also a path like Reina to finish the remaining career in biancoceleste. There has already been some informal chat, under the free-agent status which represents an excellent situation for Lotito's club which, for its part, will certainly lose Strakosha, who has already begun to look around, and perhaps even Reina himself, also expiring and born on the same day as Ospina, but 6 years older.
Ospina has been with the Italian side since 2018 after initially joining on loan from Arsenal, before making the move permanent the following year. He has gone on to make 90 appearances for the club, keeping 36 clean sheets
