Muriqi And Lazio Who Are Not Compatible Each Other
Lazio loaned striker, Vedat Muriqi scored again for La Liga side Real Mallorca in last weekend's game which also signals the problem as to why he has struggled to score goals for the Italian capital side over the past season and a half.
As reported by Football-Italia, Vedat Muriqi has scored the same number of goals in four games for Real Mallorca as he created in 49 games for his parent club Lazio and certainly raises many questions regarding his stay at Rome.
The 27-year-old Kosovo striker joined the Spanish club on a six-month loan with a buy option embedded in his contract worth around 8 million euros, he failed to convince coach Maurizio Sarri in the first half of the 2021/22 season.
Muriqi is considered to have failed to prove his expensive transfer value of 20 million euros when recruited by Biancoceleste from Fenerbahce in 2020. In 49 appearances over two seasons under coaches Simone Inzaghi and Sarri, he has scored just two goals and both against Atalanta.
This condition has certainly made his confidence drop down and continuing to get criticized at the Stadio Olimpico may not help him either.
The Aquile wanted to let the striker go last month but are now trying to make his parent club regret it. He has scored twice in La Liga games for Mallorca so far and he is showing no signs of slowing down for now.
