Jovane Cabral Will Make A Debut For Lazio Against Porto
Given the absence of Immobile, the new signing Cabral could make his debut with Lazio against Porto.
Jovane Cabral was loaned by Sporting to Lazio on the last day of the market, surprising even the coach Maurizio Sarri, who said he didn't know him. The arrival of the Cape Verdean even left the club feeling uneasy, with friction between Sarri and the sporting director.
Tonight against Porto, in the first leg of the Europa League playoffs, Lazio will have to do without the Immobile left in Rome due to a flu attack. And at the Estadio do Dragao could thus be a good opportunity to see the new signing Jovane Cabral in the Biancoceleste jersey for the first time.
Sarri could bet on the attacker while the game is in progress. The Cape Verdean has already scored for Porto in last year's Portuguese Cup match when he was playing for Sporting. Cabral entered the final game and between 86 'and 94' scored the brace that eliminated the Dragoes.
Jovane still hasn't added any games for Lazio. The 23-year-old winger was on the bench for the second game in a row and was not used by Maurizio Sarri despite a quiet 3-0 win against Bologna.
