Lazio duo Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic are the third-best in Europe's top five leagues. They each scored one goal in the Italian capital's victory over Fiorentina on Saturday (05/02) evening local time.
LazioPage reports via Twitter that Lazio's two star players, Ciro Immobile and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic have jointly scored 26 league goals, making them the third-highest in Europe's top five leagues.
Above the two Biancoceleste players are Real Madrid duo Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr with 29 goals and Bayern Munich duo Robert Lewandowski and Serge Gnarby with 34 goals.
These two players are some of the most important parts of coach Maurizio Sarri's team and they will remain key players for many years to come, with Immobile's contract running until 2026 and Milinkovic-Savic's contract expiring in 2024.
The Aquile's next match is to face Milan in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals which will take place on Wednesday (09/02) local time before they host Bologna at the Stadio Olimpico this weekend. Maurizio Sarri's team had to play seven games in just 22 days in February.
The win over Fiorentina sent them up to sixth place in the Serie A standings with 39 points from 24 matches played so far. Their number of points is the same as city rivals, AS Roma.
