[Europa League] Porto - Lazio = 2 - 1

Porto successfully beat Lazio with a narrow score of 2-1 in the first leg of the 2021/22 Europa League knock-out play-off which was held at the Estadio do Dragao.

Porto had to fall behind first after Zaccagni scored in the 23rd minute through a flick of Luis Alberto's pass.

Porto could only equalize in the 37th minute through Martinez's header using a cross that was sent by Joao Mario. The 1-1 score lasted until halftime.

Returning from halftime, Porto scored in the 49th minute. Again Martinez became the goalscorer and again started by crossing Joao Mario.

Lazio tried hard to catch up. However, no additional goals were created. The 2-1 score for Porto's victory was the final result of this match.

Thanks to this result, Porto is now winning 2-1 on aggregate. However, there is still a second leg match that will be held at Lazio's home, Olimpico next week.
