Lazio Compete With Napoli For Lille's Mandava
Two Serie A clubs, Lazio and Napoli are reportedly ready to compete for the services of Lille left-back, Reinildo Mandava. The Ligue 1 club is determined not to discount the defender.
Lazio and Napoli are reportedly looking to sign a new left-back this January and have both been interested in the 27-year-old Mozambique, Reinildo Mandava in recent times, but securing the player's contract has not been easy.
As reported by La Gazetta dello Sport, Lille wants a fee of 7 to 8 million euros for the services of Mandava, whose contract with the Ligue 1 club will expire at the end of this season.
Meanwhile, both the Biancoceleste and Il Partenopei are reluctant to spend a lot of money to bring in players who can be brought in for free in the next six months.
But things can change this month, but Lille doesn't want to lose Mandava's serve for free and may only be willing to give a small discount, that's why The Aquile and Napoli are still monitoring the situation of the 27-year-old player to this day.
The left-back from Mozambique is considered to be an important signing for Maurizio Sarri and Luciano Spaletti because both coaches have problems with their left-back sector.
For the Partenopei they only have Mario Rui in that position after Faouzi Ghoulam was sidelined through injury. While The Aquile on the other hand does not have a pure left-back who can be used as a starter, thus making the coach forced to use Elseid Hysaj and Adam Marusic in that position.
