[Serie A] Sassuolo - Lazio = 2 - 1

Lazio had to lose to Sassuolo with a score of 2-1 in the 17th week of the 2021/22 Italian League at the Mapei Stadium.

Lazio immediately kicked off and presented a surprise for Sassuolo when the match was still showing the 6th minute. Mattia Zaccagni opened Lazio's lead after his action failed to be blocked by Andrea Consigli under Sassuolo's bar.

Trying to equalize, Sassuolo failed to penetrate the tight defense raised by Lazio. Sassuolo completed his comeback in the 69th minute after Giacomo Raspadori's hard kick again made Strakosha pick up the ball from the Lazio goal. Sassuolo's 2-1 position against Lazio continued until the referee blew the whistle to mark the end of the match.
