[Europa League] Lazio - Galatasaray = 0 - 0

Lazio was forced into the Europa League knockout play-offs after drawing with Galatasaray in the last match of Group E.

Lazio vs Galatasaray duel took place at the Stadio Olimpico, Rome.  This match ended with a score of 0-0.

Lazio, who is eyeing group winners, appeared to press for most of the match.  They controlled 61 percent of possession in this match.

Lazio is also more dominant in creating opportunities.  Maurizio Sarri's men created 11 chances but sadly only one was on target.

On the other hand, Galatasaray, who lost control of the ball, managed to release two shots on goal from six chances created.

The draw meant that Lazio had to settle for ending Group E in second place in the standings and forced to take part in the play-offs for the knockout stages of the Europa League.

Meanwhile, for Galatasaray, an additional point is enough to keep them at the top of the standings and have the right to qualify directly for the last 16.

This result also made Lazio fail to avenge the defeat of Galatasaray in the first meeting.  When they traveled to Turkey, the Aquile lost 0-1.
