Cagliari Monitor Patric To Replace Godin
Transfer market expert Alfredo Pedullà revealed what Cagliari's real goals are for defense: an attempt for Lazio's Patric.
January is approaching and in addition to the market, Lazio will have to work on the renewal issue. Among the expiring players, there is also Patric with whom, however, there are no great negotiations in progress.
However, the contractual situation of the Spaniard has attracted the attention of some clubs, including Cagliari. According to what Alfredo Pedullà reports, Walter Mazzarri would have asked the club for 3 defenders, and among the names made there would also be that of Patric.
Cagliari, according to the market expert, would also have tried the first approach, but at the moment they would have found the track blocked. The Sardinian club must replace Godin and Caceres who will leave in January, so the Spaniard could be on the occasion.
Lazio, however, at the moment would not intend to talk about it, selling Patric would mean having an extra role to cover and, given the requests of Sarri, Lotito, and Tare prefer to bring the number 4 to expiration unless there are surprises. It would also be the same player who considers Cagliari a risk, given the situation of the rossoblù club.
