Bologna Is Targeting Lazio's Manuel Lazzari Ahead Of January Market

Bologna is reportedly eyeing Lazio full-back, Manuel Lazzari, as one of their targets ahead of the January market opening.  Sinisa Mihajlovic's team wants to strengthen their squad depth in that position.

As reported by Italian newspaper Resto del Carlino, it was revealed that Bologna coach Sinisa Mihajlovic has asked the club to bring in two new players in the upcoming transfer window, namely a right wing-back and also a back-up striker for Marko Arnautovic.

The Rossoblu have several targets for the right wing-back position, starting with Marcus Holmgren Pedersen from Feyenoord and Jens Stryger Larsen from Udinese and they are now adding Manuel Lazzari to their target list in January.

It is further reported that the Biancoceleste were linked with Rossoblu winger Ricardo Orsolini last summer, giving rise to the possibility of a swap between the two clubs.

The 28-year-old Lazzari is contracted by The Aquile until 2024 and he has adapted well to the four-man back system adopted by coach Maurizio Sarri this season, but he is not a player the capital club will not sell especially Adam Marusic has been comfortable at the club.  the same position as the Italian player.

Lazzari joined The Aquile from SPAL in the 2019/20 season and since then he has made 94 appearances for the Italian capital club in all competitions and completed it with four goals.
