Zaccagni: "We Lost Immobile, We Lacked Precision In Attack."
Lazio midfielder, Mattia Zaccagni discussed the importance of Ciro Immobile's presence after the 2-0 loss to Juventus suffered by his team on Saturday night. he admits their attack line is less clinical so they can't pose a threat to the opposing team's goal.
Mattia Zaccagni comments on Lazio's defeat to Juventus in the Serie A match which took place at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday night. He emphasized the importance of Ciro Immobile's presence in a match where they were beaten via two penalties.
"We lost Immobile, the game was decided by the moment, we tried to play our game, we lacked precision in attack," he said via DAZN.
"In the first half, I thought we played well, in the second half physically I was a little bit down and I suffered, I needed time to get to 100 percent."
After the defeat to the Bianconeri, the 26-year-old midfielder called for the Biancoceleste not to be sluggish and remain confident in their performance.
"We have to stay positive, believe that we are playing well, and work hard after the game."
The 26-year-old who joined the Biancoceleste on the final day of last summer's transfer has made seven appearances so far for Maurizio Sarri's club in all competitions for a total of 302 minutes, he has struggled to maintain his fitness consistently.
The Biancoceleste have now dropped to sixth place in the standings, overtaken by city rivals AS Roma and now they are preparing for an away match against Lokomotiv Moscow in the Europa League.
