The Positive Impact Of Lazio's Last Training Retreat

Lazio's decision to order the squad to undergo a training retreat was considered a smart one because the impact was classified as positive.  Maurizio Sarri's team recorded improved results after retreating for some time at Formello.

As reported by the Italian newspaper, Corriere dello Sport, the Lazio squad who underwent a training retreat at Formello after the painful defeat to Hellas Verona since now the performance of Maurizio Sarri's team has been increasing.

After undergoing a training retreat, the Biancoceleste beat Fiorentina 1-0 and Salernitana with a score of 3-0 apart from that they also performed well when they were held to a 2-2 draw by Atalanta and a 2-2 draw with Olympique Marseille.

Collecting seven points from three Serie A games means it is crucial for the Italian capital club who are at risk of finishing outside the top four if their inconsistent form continues.

In addition, the mentality of the Aquile squad has also changed, adapting better to Sarri's system and fighting with all their might for longer than before.  The capital club hopes to continue their strong form in their next match against Juventus on Saturday which will be a key match as the capital squad is looking to prove that they have found consistency.

The Aquile are now in fifth place in the Serie A standings with 21 points from 12 matches played, while Juventus are in eighth place, three points behind the capital's side.  While the top of the standings is occupied by Napoli with a collection of 32 points, the number is the same as second place, AC Milan.
