Lazio Full Back's Solution: Patric or Radu?

Lazio-Juventus match is approaching and Sarri could find himself dealing with a real full-back emergency. Lazio's infirmary continues to fill up, ahead of the match against Juventus after the national team break. Maurizio Sarri will have to do without men in defense: Lazzari is injured, Marusic tested positive at Covid-19. The only full-back currently available to the coach is Hysaj.

However, everything still appears to be in the balance. Lazzari is not participating in training with the rest of his teammates these days and his physical condition is to be evaluated. His recovery cannot be excluded and this obviously would solve the problems for the match against the Bianconeri. Similar speech for the Montenegrin, who hopefully returns negative in these days. However, in the event of a double absence, the former Chelsea manager will inevitably have to work out a solution. And in reality, taking into account the squad of Lazio, the paths to follow do not seem to be so many.

The logic would lead to the insertion of Radu on the left-back, with the displacement of Hysaj to the right. This would represent an important chance for the Romanian, little considered by Sarri at the start of the season and who was one of the negative protagonists of the debacle against Verona a few days ago. The 35-year-old could therefore solve the full-back problem, perhaps proving that he deserves a little more confidence. 

But also pay attention to the hypothesis Patric, who in his Lazio adventure played on more than one occasion on the wing. In short, not an easy choice and one that could involve risks, also given the opponent's level. The hope is that these days will serve not only to study a plan B but also to make the emergency just a memory. Because Lazio-Juventus can still become a seasonal crossroads.
